Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil as well as Telugu films in addition to a few Malayalam films. She received the National Film Award for Best Actress in the role of actor Savitri for the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). There were three SIIMA Awards were also given to her. She also received the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy, her mother is Menaka G. Suresh and film producer G. Suresh Kumar is an aspiring actress. In the early 2000s, she began as a young actor. After completing her studies in fashion design, Keerthy returned to film. She played her first major role in Geethaanjali (2013) in an Malayalam motion picture. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began to work on films that weren't Malayalam in 2015. She also signed up to be a part of multiple Tamil films simultaneously. While the film did not do well at the box office Her debut film is A. L. Vijay's romantic-comedy Idhu Enna Maayam (2005) that she was in with Vikramprabhu. It was necessary to withdraw of a number of films she was making in 2015 such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vedam, to free up space for more ambitious projects. In the following years, she was working in Rajini Murugan's Remo and Remo in two film. In addition, Dhanush and she played as the main characters for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. However, the film is in the process of being delayed, and there are reports of release after September, 2020 with a brand new title Janakitho Nenu.
