Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin (born April 15th 1977) is an American writer, director comedian and podcaster. She also promotes mental health. She previously worked as a writer at BuzzFeed Video but left in 2015 along with her co-writer and colleague Gabe Dunn to pursue work in their comedy YouTube channel Just Between Us. Raskin was born on the 20th of June 1989, at Manhattan, New York to an ethnically Jewish family. She was a student at the University of Southern California, which she graduated with an undergraduate degree in the fine arts. Jamin Ben Raskin (born December 13, 1962) is an American attorney law professor as well as a politician serving as the U.S. representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district as of 2017. A law professor served as the principal prosecutor in Trump's 2nd impeachment hearing. Rep. Jamie Raskin will not run for the open Senate seat located in Maryland. Instead, he will run for reelection an elected member of the House. He hopes to become the chairman of that House Oversight and Accountability Committee. Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac, and other wealthy suburbs within the Washington, D.C. area are all part of the district. Rockville, Silver Spring, and Bethesda comprise the more diverse and economic communities in this district. Maryland is a constituent state of the United States of America.
